Cyfanfyd’s Lifelong Learning programme works to promote Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship in all aspects of adult and community-based education in Wales.
Cyfanfyd provides resources and support for a wide range of organisations involved in delivering adult and community-based education in Wales. Resources produced include a Good Practice Guide for ESDGC in Lifelong Learning and the Welsh Government’s “Common Understanding of ESDGC in Adult and Community Based Learning”.
Cyfanfyd provides a wide range of training opportunities for ACL practitioners ranging from introductory day course to a residential, accredited “Training for Trainers in ESDGC” course.
ESDGC for Lifelong Learning: Good Practice Guide for Wales
This guide draws together and celebrates the best practice of adult and community education practitioners across Wales. At the same time, the guide demonstrates the importance of Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship content within Lifelong Learning and in turn serves to inspire others to bring the global perspective into their work.
