Lifelong Learning Cyfanfyd’s Lifelong Learning programme is supported by the Department of International Development (DfID) and the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG). It aims to work together with other organisations to promote a Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship in all aspects of adult education in Wales.
Global Learning Award 2008
Nominations and entries are invited from any education/ community programme in Wales that introduces a global perspective that addresses world inequalities and sustainability. Cyfanfyd's
Lifelong Learning Programme works with the range of providers involved
in delivering Lifelong Learning in Wales. This has included the
production of a Good Practice Guide for ESDGC in Lifelong Learning,
the development, in partnership with NIACE Cymru, of the Global
learning Award and the provision of support and resources for WEA
and trade union courses.
