Engage Marginalised Young People in ESDGC
On Wednesday the 21st of July, Cyfanfyd plans to hold a Global Youth Work Network event at the Temple of Peace, between 10am and 4pm in Cathays Park, Cardiff. The event, which will be themed, 'On the Edge of ESDGC: Engaging Marginalised and Diverse Young People in Global Sustainability Issues' will focus on groups of young people who have been marginalised in the past, for example young people from Black and minority ethnic organisations, young people not engaged at school, young offenders, young people with disabilities, or homeless young people.
The event is open to anyone working with these marginalised target groups and is intended to offer ideas on how to engage them in learning about global citizenship and sustainable development (ESDGC). The day will offer hands on techniques from practitioners with experience, along with an opportunity to discuss methods with other Cyfanfyd Global Youth Work Network members.
