World Day of Social Justice is a day recognizing the need to promote efforts to tackle issues such as poverty, exclusion and unemployment. Since 2009, the United Nations General Assembly has decided to observe the 20th of February annually as the World Day of Social Justice.
As recognized by the World Summit, social development aims at social justice, solidarity, harmony and equality within and among countries and social justice, equality and equity constitute the fundamental values of all societies.

It reminds us the disabled are still the forgotten minority and we must do something to change how they are so callously killled, abused and neglected all over the world. People are more concerned with Snookie getting pregnant than they are with what really matters in life..in their own communities and around world. We have become an apathetic global people because our attention is stolen away from what matters and is being sucked into a black hole of empty useless information. Nothing wrong with a little entertainment but you know what I mean. It’s time to do something more. Make a difference in other’s lives. Get involved. We only have ONE chance here on earth. Don’t let half of be spent watching idiotic TV shows when you can be out there doing something that makes lasting change and helps others.
