Kickbutts day is a global campaign for young people to have their voices heard, which encourages them to take action and speak out against the harm caused a by tobacco use.
ASH Wales is planning to hold an event in Cardiff Bay in the Oval Basin on Wednesday the 28th of March 2012 (between 11am-2pm) to raise awareness of Kickbutts Day. The event will be very youth focused with young people attending and raising awareness of the issues that affect them and their health.
ASH Wales was established in 1976 and is the leading voluntary organisation in Wales tackling tobacco use. Their main aim is to achieve a reduction in and eventual elimination of the health problems associated with tobacco use.
