The Centre for Global Education’s Annual Conference will be held in Dublin on the 23rd of February 2012. Discussions will be on the theme of “Rising to the Challenge: Development Education in a Changing Local and Global Landscape”.
The conference will explore some of the key challenges confronting the development education sector in the current financial climate and shifting policy landscape, particularly in demonstrating the impact of our practice on target groups.
It will signpost how the sector can move forward in this context and examine the new opportunities that have arisen for development educators to engage with local audiences on global issues. The keynote address will be delivered by Bobby McCormack, Development Perspectives.
